The Husaini Foundation seeks to promote the values of thought, action and humanism that Dr. Zohra Husaini embodied throughout her life.
Through an annual human rights award in partnership with the Indo Canadian Women’s Association (ICWA), the Foundation recognizes and promotes the achievements and advocacy of those resisting against gender-based violence locally and globally.
ACTION.
The Husaini Memorial Lecture series introduces innovative and dynamic thinkers who reflect Dr. Husaini’s unrelenting pursuit of academic excellence and her strong commitment towards social justice.
The legacy of Dr. Husaini’s commitment to secularism, pluralism and fighting oppression, is our touchstone for building partnerships with organizations and grassroots movements, locally and globally which foster Dr. Husaini’s humanistic vision.
